Paws and Claws Resource Center is a Bosque County nonprofit that aids local rescues by offering vital support, including spay/neuter services, fostering, food assistance, and veterinary care. Our joint goal is to enhance the well-being of animals and strengthen rescue operations in the community.
Established in 2017, Bosque County Spay and Neuter, now known as Paws and Claws Resource Center, has been dedicated to enhancing animal welfare through accessible, low-cost spay and neuter services. Our mission is to address pet overpopulation and support pets in homes, as well as those abandoned or roaming the streets.
In June 2024, we redefined our organization to reflect our expanded role and name change. We now support all animal rescue agencies in Bosque County, partnering with organizations such as Bosque Animal Rescue Kennels (BARK) and others to share resources and work collaboratively toward our common goal. Our new facility, located at 1803 W 5th Street in Clifton, Texas, serves as a hub for our partners to address animal welfare issues and develop solutions with the support of our experienced volunteer team. The facility features a dedicated meeting space, a dog grooming unit, and a staging area for our spay and neuter operations. Our collaborative efforts and newly enhanced facility are pivotal in making a positive impact, and we are excited to continue working together to improve the lives of animals across our community. |
