  • Bosque Animal Rescue Kennels (BARK) -  BARK's mission is to provide a safe and loving temporary shelter for animals in Bosque County that are lost, abandoned or abused. Hill County Resources
  • Hill County Paw Pals - They facilitate the installation of a county animal control program and promote and contribute to building a county animal shelter.  They also, organize to challenge the overpopulation of unwanted companion animals (dog and cats) with four programs working simultaneously–Education, Legislation, Spay/Neuter, and Adoption (Project ELSA).  For more information phone:  254-580-0679, email: hcpawpals@yahoo.com, or visit their website at www.hcpaws.org
Johnson County Resources
  • Drowzy Dawg Rescue - Drowzy Dawg is all about saving the lives of homeless dogs, cat, pigs and other companion animals in our community. The Rescue does everything possible to help rehabilitate and re-home as many furry friends as possible, and even networks with other rescues to maximize adoptions!  Drowzy Dawg is also involved in TNR (Trap Neuter Return of feral/stray cats) and work to prepare kittens who can be socialized for adoption.    We house a small population of geriatric unadoptable dogs and cats.  We assist, as financially possible, with food, healthcare, spay and neuter, and vaccinations for animals whose owners have fallen on hard times.  For more information phone:  817 -242-3040, email:  Drowzydawgrescue@gmail.com, or visit their website at www.drowzyrescue.org
